Procedures for Proofs and Ordering

• Proofs: Proofs are 4"x5" finished pictures (numbered on back) that you will use to select your order.  Before allowing the proofs to leave the studio a deposit fee of $85 is required.  This fee does not constitute payment of the proofs. Proofs must be returned in good condition no later than 14 days to guarantee a full return of the deposit. 

• Ordering:  Once you have selected the proof(s), Lynn & Lynn will provide reprints.  Lynn & Lynn will assist you in identifying the reprint that corresponds with the proof you have selected.  Lynn & Lynn offers  standard, custom and canvas prints.  The following defines the styles:

  • Standard--Standard will be similar to the proof.  It will not be mounted, and/or custom printed.  If standard is chosen the proof should be centered. If not the 2"x3", 4"x5", and 5"x7 will be off center.

  • Custom--Custom is board mounted, lacquered and custom printed.  Custom is also retouched if necessary.

  • Canvas Print--Canvas is custom printed, canvas mount, and retouched as necessary.

   

• Order Deposits: The order deposit will be one half of the amount of your order,  plus sales tax, less proof deposit.  The remaining half will be due when you pickup the finished portraits.
